Giorgio Bezzi
Business owner
I’m Giorgio Bezzi, the founder of TexSource66, with over 40 years of experience in the apparel industry.
As an experienced manufacturing and sourcing manager, my international career has given me a deep understanding of retailers' needs regarding products, quality, speed, and price.
Working with numerous international companies has taught me that our fast-changing industry demands flexibility for growth.
To survive and succeed in our competitive field, we must anticipate and adapt to these changes.
We're committed to helping businesses adapt and grow in this dynamic industry.
Italy
After completing my degree in Mathematics, I joined my family’s business in Italy, where we specialized in developing collections and samples for various Italian brands.
We worked on a diverse range of products, from outerwear to denim.
This early exposure to the industry helped me develop a deep appreciation for quality craftsmanship.
Ireland
Fifteen years later, I began my international career in Dublin, where I managed and reorganized production for a classic men's factory.
This factory focused on men’s jackets and coats, mainly using classic materials like tweed and cashmere from Scotland.
I had the opportunity to oversee operations in factories ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 workers.
Career
Romania
In 1992, my career took me to Romania, first managing a ladieswear factory with 1,000 workers, and later overseeing a sportswear factory that employed 3,500 people.
Texsource
Russia
Ten years later, I moved to Russia to join Gloria Jeans as VP of Sourcing and Manufacturing. At that time, Gloria Jeans had a turnover of $52 million and employed 3,300 people.
I worked with the company for several years, managing a $200 million open-to-buy budget and overseeing production in China, as well as establishing offices in Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan.
In 2023, I decided to start Texsource66 to help retailers relocate their production closer to their markets in the EU.
Currently, I am focused on developing production capabilities in Egypt and Uzbekistan.
My goal is to continue improving the way fashion is made and delivered, bringing both expertise and practical solutions to the table.
